Founder and Executive Director, Emeritus

Ed Stauffer is the Founder and Executive Director Emeritus of the Federation of Fire Chaplains. He has been a speaker on Critical Incident Stress and family life for 42 years to firefighters and their families. He is past Chaplain of the IAFF and Chaplain for the Fort Worth Fire Department for 38 years. Ed is the founder of the FFC Institute along with teaching many subjects to the emergency services . He has been an Instructor to the Texas A&M Fire School for 28 years and is a speaker to fire departments throughout the United States and Canada. He is currently serves as an Advisor of the Federation of Fire Chaplains and Instructor for the Essentials of Fire Chaplaincy and Advanced Fire Chaplain programs.

Executive Director

Jimmie Duncan has a BA degree in Religion from Gardner-Webb College (Now University). He retired from the Irving Fire Department (Irving, Texas) in January of 2019 after 32 years of service as an Engineer/Paramedic. Jimmie holds a Master Firefighter Certification from the State of Texas, in addition to certificates in High Angle Rescue I & II, Confined space Rescue, and Trench Rescue. Jimmie also holds numerous certificates from the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation, which includes a Certificate of Specialized Training in the area of Pastoral Crisis Intervention. Jimmie served as the Chaplain and Critical Incident Stress Management coordinator for his department for 20 years. Jimmie is one of the the founding members and President of the Texas Corps of Fire Chaplains, and is a member of the Texas Line of Duty Task Force.

Jimmie Currently resides in Irving, Texas with his wife, Cindy.
