The 2022 Annual Conference of the Federation of Fire Chaplains will be held i9n St. Petersburg Florida at the Hilton St. Petersburg Carillon Park Hotel. The conference dates are October 13-19, 2023. This includes Pre-Conference Training October 13-15, 2023 (Essentials of Fire Chaplaincy, CISM Training, and Advanced Chaplaincy Training).
The General Conference will begin on Sunday evening, October 15, 2023 with the "Tired Travelers" reception. Following the Opening ceremonies, Monday, October 16, the attendee will have the opportunity for 16-20 hours of additional training on topics selected by the host chaplains.
Note: If you are attending the Instructor Class it is on October 13, 2023, before the Conference begins.

Pre-Conference Training

Instructor Training (1 Day, October 13)
(Must have approval from Executive Director to Attend)
To participate in the Instructor Class:
- Active FFC Member of good standing for five consecutive years (prior to the Class)
- Completion of Essentials Training (16hrs).
- Completion of Advanced Studies (130hrs).
- Pre-Approval by the FFC Executive Director
CISM: 3-Day Group and Individual Class (GRIN) (October 13-15)
Essentials of Fire Chaplaincy (2 days, October 14-15)
The ASIST Class is Full, there are no seats left.
Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) (2 days, October 14-15)

If you would like to arrive early or stay later, the Conference rates will be honored 3 days before or after if the rooms are available.
We were notified by the host hotel that they are completely full on some of the days we had blocked. The hotel advised me that they have extended our room block to the Homewood Suites near the hotel where the conference will be.
