The Suicide: Prevention, Intervention, and Postvention Class costs $180.

This includes two days of instruction and discussion, workbook, a certificate of completion from the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation, and donuts & coffee plus lunch and snacks on both days.

If your registration form and check is postmarked by April 4, the cost is $155.

Note: Classes are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm both days. Registration is Monday at 8 am. Dress is casual. Because the weather (and air conditioning) can vary in May, we encourage you to bring a sweatshirt.


Chaplain Edgar Hatcher, Ed.D., is a Board-Certified Trauma Responder with more than 1,000 hours of specialized training in crisis and trauma ministry, including holding all six ICISF Specialized Training Certificates, and has over 1,000 hours of field experience. He is a pastor in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and served as an Air Force chaplain for 27 years. Dr. Hatcher is a member of the National Organization for Victim Assistance, the Association of Traumatic Stress Specialists, the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress, and the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation. He

is also a member of the Federation of Fire Chaplains and serves as an instructor for that organization as well. He was our instructor in 2018 and was very well received.
