Advanced Chaplain Field Operations and Communication Tools During Disasters(Centerville, Tennessee)  This class covers many of the requirements for Senior and Master Level Certification.  Unlike any class you have ever taken before, this class includes advanced tools for disasters and extended local events, field communications, establishing and maintaining short-term shelter and lodging, outdoor operations packing lists, providing healthy and safe rehab and support, death notification practical experience, and nighttime operational safety.  We will have two nighttime exercises during this class.  Chaplains will gain an opportunity to learn the tools and expertise needed in order to communicate during and following disasters.  Course will cover need-to-know issues, information sensitivity for the public airwaves, confidentiality issues during disasters, and the tools for communicating during disasters.  This course will teach the Technician Level Ham Radio Operator Curriculum and each participant will be able to challenge the test at the end of the course and, upon passing, will obtain their Technician License.  Course fee includes lodging in field conditions in campers, motorhomes and shelters, and all meals.  Those who can house additional student(s) in their camper or motorhome will receive partial or full class scholarships.
