Director of US Regions
Paul N. Trumpore, Sr.
Paul is a 1993 graduate of Johnson University. He began working in Crisis Response in 1990, and became a member of the Federation of Fire Chaplains in June, 1991. Paul became the Southeast Regional Director for the Federation of Fire Chaplains in 2000, serving in this position until 2021 when he became the Director of Regions. Paul has managed the chaplain program for the City of Knoxville Fire Department since 2002 and is a division head over Public Fire Education as a Captain. Paul is one of the Founding members of the Tennessee Federation of Fire Chaplains and has served as Executive Director since 2002. Paul established the Tennessee Line-of-Duty Death Response Team in 2001, now part of the NFFF Local Assistance State Team program, serving more than 65 LODD families to date. Paul also serves as Secretary and Registrar to the Tennessee Fallen Firefighter Memorial Foundation. He formed the Tennessee Crisis Response Network in 2007 providing training to 16 various Tennessee teams. In 2019, all of the emergency service-based teams combined to form the Tennessee Disaster Mental Health Strike Team, which he coordinates. Paul is minister of Sullivan Road Christian Church in Knoxville since 1996. He and his wife Ann have six children, five grandchildren and have had fourteen foster children.
